Wellness Through Movement is the foundation of Teresa’s approach to fitness and well-being.

Enjoying movement through GYROTONIC® & GYROKINESIS® methods, Pilates, Yoga, TRX, dance, hula hooping, aerial arts, hiking, biking and just plain old taking a walk.

Teresa is a certified, licensed and insured instructor of multiple modalities and equipments. Her passion started at a young age, when her parents started her in dance at 3 years old to help build up her asthmatic lungs. This transformed to high school sports and weight lifting, then the professional world of movement through classical Pilates and the GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® methods. She never left her more athletic roots of sports and gym time, and so continues strength training with aerial fabric (hammock, anti-gravity) and the TRX suspension system, which are extremely complimentary to the GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® methods, as well as keeping the outdoor activities of hiking and biking.

Teresa primarily teaches group classes and private one-on-one sessions, with a dynamic teaching style that addresses the full body through lengthening muscles, increases muscle tone, expanding the breath, challenging the brain, and stimulating the nervous system. Private lessons are tailored to individual needs, while group classes can be multi-level, beginner, or advanced.
